Based in Edinburgh, Active Health Physio provides physiotherapy to people living with neurological conditions such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, Guillain-Barre Syndrome, Parkinson’s disease, head injury and spinalcord injury. We also specialise in rehabilitation of long-term conditions that commonly occur in later life such as hip and knee arthritis, osteoporosis, and reduced mobility and dementia. As well as clinic appointments our service provides home visit physiotherapy in Edinburgh, for treatment when and where you need it.
Our Physios are experts in helping older adults to improve their balance and strength for confident mobility in the community. As part of our focus on older peoples’ health we have exercise classes that cater for different abilities and emphasise the fun and social aspects of group-based activity. The aim of these classes is to maintain peoples’ ability to stay socially active and independent with activities of daily living. By supporting you to become more active our Physios can help you add more life to years as well as years to life.
